How did you hear about EVBP?

I had heard about bike polo in Ottawa just after my daughter was born and thought it was crazy!! A friend at the time had been trying to get me out to bike polo for months. I started thinking seriously about it after meeting Patricia and Jim at PEDAL while she was building her fixed gear (I had ridden mine there). That was October 2006. It took me until mid-February to get out to the court (I was living in Kits at the time) and then it was only because someone else had my daughter for the day.

When I got on the court I was terrified and all I could do was to keep the ball away from me (thanks for the borrowed mallet p*cakes!). It was commutes 3x/week from then on! I eventually moved, several months later to the neighbourhood, not just for polo, but it was definitely one of the reasons.
