Want to come and play with us?

The best time to get started is on Sundays from 1 PM onwards, weather permitting. Court time for new players is prioritized on Sundays, although regulars will be on hand to provide loaner gear and nerd out about polo. Come down to Grandview Park at Charles & Commercial to play a few non-competitive games of pick-up, or just to say hi and check things out. Bring your friends, too!

To start playing, you should be able to ride a bike with one hand. You can use your own bike, or borrow one at the court. Mallets will be provided as well.

Women & Genderqueer Night

3rd Tuesday of the month, starts at 6pm.

East Van Bike Polo Women & Genderqueer Night on Facebook.

Come out to Grandview Park for our monthly Women and Gender Queer bike polo night, which aims to provide a positive space for any new players who are women (trans and cis) and/or gender queer-identified (non-binary individuals who identify with women's community).

If you are even the least bit curious about bike polo, this is the night to try it and meet some great people. We usually have a dedicated spectating/cheering/heckling section of women and genderqueer folks, too. (We are kindly asking male supporters who are interested in watching polo to stop by the court on another day.)

Bring your bike gloves and helmet. If you can ride your bike with one hand, you’re good to go! Feel free to use your own bike (straight bars are best, good brakes help!), or borrow one at the court. Mallets also provided.

If you don't self-identify as female and/or gender queer, feel free to invite one of your friends who does! We would love a great turnout so we can share the love we feel for this silly fun bike sport.
